i know, i need about two months to get some inspirasi to update. tsk tsk tsk

not like anyone actually bothers to read my blog but anyhoo, i'm back to vomit the pictures for day 3 to 6 of the island life i was enjoying in phuket.

we decided to go for some island hopping tour to phi phi on day 3.

at maya bay for a bit only, to tangkap stim. then headed to god knows where for some buffet lunch. so long ago, i can barely remember where also. tsk

it was sort of free & easy after lunch. where they part us at another beach and har, lantak la ape kau nak buat. farna & i actually decided to just burn ourselves under the sun. but the water is one kind of clear, and the fishes were all around! banyak fishes! so we got a bit miang, and decided to snorkel thereafter. hurhurhur

do not ask where. wo yea pu che tau!

we found this no. 6 restaurant, while roaming randomly along the stretch of Bangla Road, and it sort of became our dinner port for the next couple of days. reason being, food's not bad, and its cheap!

i swear we overdose ourselves with phad thai & thai ice tea!

OH!!! BARANG BAIKKK. if you think overdosing ourselves with phad thai & thai ice tea was bad, imagine us stuffing ourselves with sticky rice with mangoes every night AFTER dinner!

when i ask my friends who have been to Phuket which beach to visit, almost everyone recommended Karon Beach. everyone said it's like a MUST-GO in Phuket. ok so we went!

personally, i also don't know what's the hype about Karon Beach lah kan. like same only with Patong. ok la, same but there's no crowd, which is a good thing. and not as commercialized, compared to Patong. otherwise, everything sama lor. beach umbrella yang berkerak also sama what. cheat my feelings only.

ok, ok. not everything sama. at Karon right, the waves. i tell you. the waves very kurang ajar one!

that aside, Karon was also where cik sal got himself a seruling berputar!

sawadekaaaa! if you haven't already know, phuket was freaking awesome! especially so when you were stuck there for a good six days five nights with awesome company. :D

planned for a trip to Phuket the awesome to surprise myfavourite girl, on her birthday trip, with her favourite boy. glad everything went well. it was damn tough to make sure that i didn't slip the surprise to her each time i korek info from her about the trip la. can you imagine i kept the excitement on my own for three freaking months!!! not funny ah, if you think about it.

so, ahmad & i took an earlier flight to Phuket, only to find out that farna's & cik sal's flight was delayed for an hour. WHICH MEANSSS ahmad & i had to be mangkok at the airport. -.- i swear that one hour felt like forever. and when their flight was finally reflected as landed, ape lagi, we made our way to the arrival door, dengan penuh excited and enthusiam, AND a sinage, no less.

i actually planned to take a video of my bb girl arriving, all. but knowing me and my big bag, i couldn't locate my camera on time. :/ and ahmad, being useful, was trying to figure out how to record a video with his DSLR. so, ended up with this picture yang sungguh tak flattering tapi harus as an evidence of the surpriseee! :D actually when i saw cik sal & farna at the gate, i was si beh excited, i couldn't stop grinning like an idiot with the sinage, but hor, farna looked at me, and look away! so i stood there for the longest time, still grinning like a budak tak betol, while there ahmad was, beside me, still trying to figure out his camera, UNTIL i farna finally shrieked!!! hurhurhur (really hope you liked that surprise! [in the form of ahmad the boatman & lisa the mamasan, of course!])

made our way to borong drinks first before deciding how we should get to our resort. after much serious discussion (macam paham), we decided to settle on cab. like duh. haha. it was one hell of a ride to our resort, but yang penting, we all reached in one piece, all ready to explore awesome Phuket! :D

was actually quite disappointed with the exterior of the resort, i mean, the whole resort, does not look grand or anything and to think that we actually paid quite a bit for it. yea, get what i mean right. but anyhoo,

spent the remaining day catching up on our beauty sleep, except for ahmad the boatman who took the time to chill out by the pool. met up in the evening for dinner along the street. we were lucky to chance upon a muslim roadside stall selling chicken noodles, awesome chicken noodles, i must add.

and also, banana nutella pancake for dessert! yummers!

we started the following day early, with plans just to laze around the Patong beach, suntanning and a little bit of parasailing.

alrighty, done with parasailing, and we decided to be pretentious and suntan by the beach and brought fruits while at it. haha. macam paham

many weekends ago, met up with the usual girlfriends to have dinner at the awesome japanese restaurant, Z`en Japanese Cuisine over at UE Square to celebrate shazzie's birthday! :D

so, shazzie's now in her late twenties, twenty six to be exact but she definately does not look anywhere near 26! :O

ok, before i vomit my entry with all the pictures, i shall do a disclaimer, sorry for the poor quality pictures hor. :(

so anyways, met up with adi first after work, yes after work on a sunday. le sigh. headed down to z`en straight to blow balloons and make friends with Doris the first class waitress and of course, to make a fool out of ourselves, as usual.

haven't been updating, too many things are happening around me, i thought i was losing it. march was evil, i told myself, well, i convinced myself that April would be better.

my good lord, April was worst, but i am gonna make the best of out it, like i always have, all the time. i know i can make things right, i know that i decide how the rest of my days are gonna be like.

and having said that, lets start with the first birthday of the year my family celebrates, April Birthday! Naim turns 11 and Luth turns 7, this April. so damn fast right. as we do it every year, nothing fancy, nothing extravagant, just simple precious family bonding, for all birthdays. (: simple bonding to remind one another that we care.

it was rather a very last minute plan, as u can see from my face, my hair and my attire yang paling appropriate & manis sekali. alah, actually why i post up so many photos also i don't know, everyone looks the same what, tio bo?

many many ladies night back, i membontot Adi to work. and her awesome work involves club hopping and writing reviews on them. ape lagi, of course i would tag along right. haha

anyways, i wasn't keen initially cause it was after a long day at work and this aging body is aching blah blah blah. its a sign that i am too old to party, and it's quite depressing. i like to believe that i am still 21, or will forever be. i know, a bit too hopeful right.

first stop for the night was zouk, velvet & phuture. i am not really a fan of zouk so i was dreading myself and giving adi like 5 mins to go in & snap pictures and take videos. haha so much of being a good friend. don't recall taking any pictures in zouk also. we headed down to double o thereafter. another -___- place

don't like the music, don't like the crowd, the drinks, don't get me started. ok i don't remember which other clubs we checked out but there were a few nice ones that i like! :D and i thought pump room's good too! we basically, got thousands of chops on our arms, go in for less than fifteen minutes, snap pictures, take videos, laugh at random people, abuse the ladies night free flow and left.

after brunch last saturday, shaz, adi & i hit bugis for some snazzy shopping. and cause i have an awesome BFF, i met her there with her boyfriend for some crazy ass retail therapy after shaz & adi left for the day. after getting ripped off from an online blogshop, and after we found ourselves cheap-ass $10 dresses for boss' wedding, i think i've decided that Bugis Street is THE place to be for some awesome excessive shopping. ;) aiyah, actually anywhere also if you shop and don't get ripped off is awesome. sheesh.

we borong the whole bugis street and decided to settle for Japanese dinner at Bugis Junction. but the queue at Sakae Sushi was crazy so we settled down for some Seoul Garden dinner instead. :D actually wasn't a very good idea for me as i was still full from brunch with the girls at Samy's Curry lor. :/ BUT, tu tak penting, yang penting kita enjoy ourselves kutuk-ing orang yang amek makanan macam tak makan sebulan. can never understand it lor. actually diorang nak amek ape pun, brape banyak pun, it doesn't affect my fucking life also.

we had an awesome beginning together, and no matter how hard goodbye was, i'm glad there was closure to it.

i never regret nudging you that Monday morning; cause that was the start of our beautiful journey. i know its tough for you, but i am glad you decided to make this decision now and not wait till its too late.

like i said, thank you for making me the happiest girl on earth for three weeks. (: people said i was glowing, and as much as i wanna glow forever because of you, things don't go the way we want them to. good things will come to an end.

best friends are supposed to go everywhere with you, and that was just what my best friend did. come every friday, we will complain to each other on how miserable our lives are with no plans or whatsoever on friday nights, how we're getting old with our aching bodies la, backside la, this and that la.

but we decided to do it differently this time round. we decided that we should go out & talk ,about life & love. le sigh. and we decided that we do not wanna have dinner and that it would be nice to spend a lazy friday evening lying down and talk.

if there's one thing i'll miss the ex-firm, it would be the group of girlfriends i met back there. who would have thought that we ended up being so close, from our first lunch at Sakae Sushi, to the many late nights in the office, to dancing & karaoke sessions IN the office, pajama parties we had, and whathaveyous.

xanna who was the last to leave the infamous firm will be leaving us for good. she found an Aussie boyfriend and is now making plans to start a family in Melbourne. so she made time for us, came back to Singapore to meet us for the last time before she leaves for good. le sigh.

shaz (the foodie) recommended that we have dinner at Tapas Tree; Clarke Quay. i thought the food served was good and the price is reasonable i must say; and the perfectly cosy (and romantic) ambiance is a plus point. thanks shazzie! (:

attended boss' wedding last weekend at Shangri-La in my awesome cheap-ass dress from bugis. mane ade orang pergi wedding kat hotel pakai dress kat bugis (ok except for my BFF & i) haha. actually cheap dress tak pasal, asalkan tak kena misrep from online shops & tak kena daylight robbery, gua akan tetap contented.

but before we attend the function, OF COURSE kena crash the (gorgeous nak mampos) toilet first kan. was so jakon when i entered the toilet. maha lawa per toilet dia. maybe i' should hold my wedding at Shangri-La (toilet) eh.

and sebab yours truly sekarangkan single (and ready to mingle, *ehem*), i attended the wedding as a lamppost for my BFF & her BF lor.

trust that you guys had an awesome start to 2010, like i did. (: never mind the fact that i only had 4 hours of sleep the night before.

the initial plan was to party like a rockstar at Attica but Farnamals told me that she spoke to Cik Sal and decided to go pubbing instead of clubbing. ok ah, honestly quite disappointed cause i was so hyped up for Attica (who wouldn't); but then again cause i've always been crazy partying, i thought pubbing wouldn't be a bad idea afterall.

and because i decided that i refuse to be a lamppost, i dated my favourite girlfriend, Hem with me. i still can't decide if i'm lucky or lucky cause its almost impossible to meet up with her on any other days, nie NYE boleh free pulak. so being the pubbing veteran, we made her decide where we should head to. hahaha

was so excited please, dengan bulu mata bedek, chipped manicure and gorgeous pair of wedges (FINALLY got to wear them out), i waited like forever for them to pick me up!

our pubbing consultant thought that we should head down to BQ Bar. i actually like that place, its cosy and the crowd is not rowdy. ok la, not like its my first time there, but it has been awhile since i went pubbing with Hem

he thought i was 18 (which made me very happy of course) hahaha. it must be the reben. another cadangan handal 2010 is to wear big reben (the IN YOUR FACE kind) to party

Batam with Supermum

went for a day trip to Batam with supermum, together with her colleagues; for company's day trip. i personally think things at Batam are very overrated today. shopping isn't as good as before, and also isn't as cheap as before. but good food never fails.

seafood lunch was over at Golden Prawn, which was nothing fantastic really.

ok obviously that wasn't the only two dishes we gobbled up. which also means that i was obviously too gelojoh and was too busy eating and totally forgot about snapping pictures of the other 4 dishes when they were served. (mane tak sihat, kan?)

and because shopping was quite a disappointment, we walked around, finish every bit of our cash and crashed A&W. (told you food never fails) which REALLY explains. haha

so it was home sweet home after that, when i decided to be a pig and sleep through the journey home. actually not because i decided to be me a pemalas ah (not that i already am) but i was just trying to reserve my energy for partying later at night. hurhurhur. so no photos for the journey back home, like as if you all also interested like that hor.
